FLAT CABLE SHIELD JACKET ( FRCSR Series )
 
- Conductive aluminum foil provides effective EMI shielding at low cost.
- Insulating outer layer offers electrical and environmental protection to the cables.
- Pressure sensitive adhesive tape for convenient closing. No tool needed for installation on cable.
- Lightweight, flexible material offers excellent conformability on various cable configurations.
- Easy to terminate for grounding circuit connections at the ends of the cable.
- Easy installation on connected cables in original design or retrofit applications on interface/data lines for effective EMI shielding against internal/external radiated emissions and full compliance with the international EMC regulations for electronic equipment.
- Shielding effectiveness (average):
105 dB at 2 MHz - 1 GHz
- Materials:
Conductive layer: Aluminum foil - thickness 12 µm (0.0005 in.)
Insulation:
PET film - thickness 25 µm (0.001 in.)
PVC film - thickness 100 µm (0.004 in.)
Flame retardant materials
- Standard length: 960mm (3 ft.)
Custom lengths (cut to size) also available.
- Shielding jacket available on request with grounding wire terminals
pre-attached to one or both ends.
- The jacket comes pre-folded for flat cables as per dimension "A".
Materials can be optionally supplied flat.
